Last Epoch Paladin Reflective Righteous Fire Build Guide: Smooth All-Round Performance for Mapping and Bossing

Hello everyone. Today, I’m sharing my favorite build of the season—the Paladin Reflective Righteous Fire build. In my opinion, this is the most perfect and flawless build I’ve played. It handles all content in the game with ease and outperforms other builds in nearly every aspect. Whether it’s mapping efficiency or survivability, it achieves an excellent balance.

The reflection mechanic is one of the core features of this build, thanks to the new unique item, "Primordial Unique", which allows us to actively apply reflection to enemies. The reflected damage is calculated as follows: Reflected Flat Damage × Attunement Percentage. The flat damage primarily comes from the T7 prefix on the chest plate, the T7 prefix on the shield, and the suffixes on small Looming Idols. Specifically, the chest provides 600 flat damage, the shield provides 468 flat damage, and the 20 small idols can each provide up to 150 flat damage, summing up to nearly 4000 flat damage. With the unique item "Thornflesh", the reflected damage is amplified by a percentage based on our Attunement. For an endgame Paladin without using "Jupiter's Sigil", the Attunement can reach around 150. Combined with the chest’s 4x damage multiplier against bosses, the final reflected damage against bosses is substantial, easily reaching millions of DPS. Although reflected damage may not match the top-tier output of mainstream builds, it is more than sufficient for mapping, effortlessly clearing packs of monsters.

The key question is: How can we further enhance bossing and survivability while maintaining mapping damage? The answer lies in Judgment, Righteous Fire. The suffixes of the small Looming Idols are already used for stacking reflected flat damage, but the prefix has a very useful attribute—increased Healing Effectiveness and Health. Each idol can provide up to 10 Healing Effectiveness and 18 Health, and 20 idols together can bring up to 200 Healing Effectiveness and 300 Health. Even half of that is still very practical. Healing Effectiveness is crucial for the Judgment Paladin: every 5% Healing Effectiveness converts to 1 flat damage for Judgment, while every 100% Healing Effectiveness provides 5% Fire Penetration. For defense, the Hand of Absolution skill provides 3 Ward per 10% Healing Effectiveness, making Healing Effectiveness both an offensive and defensive stat.

Attunement is another core attribute. The Judgment skill itself scales with both Strength and Attunement, and the Paladin’s passive tree converts each point of Attunement into Healing Effectiveness, creating a positive feedback loop. Attunement also provides Damage Over Time (DoT) Mitigation through the Forge Guard passive tree, which is particularly useful against high-level Ultimate Visions (UV) or certain boss skills. Many players find themselves easily killed by damage over time in the late game, and this build addresses that weakness effectively.

In terms of gameplay feel, the Reflective Righteous Fire build is very lazy-friendly. During mapping, reflection automatically clears monsters, and when encountering elites, simply casting Judgment is enough. Almost no complex actions are required. The Guard’s Shield Rush skill provides extremely fast movement speed, especially on straight paths, making the overall mapping process smooth and efficient. The leveling transition is also very smooth. The Paladin Righteous Fire leveling build is inherently strong, capable of clearing the campaign within two hours and defeating Temporal Sanctum (Super Diablo) within 24 hours. Once the core reflection items are acquired, the transition to the endgame is seamless.

For gear choices, prioritize upgrading the chest plate and shield. The chest plate should ideally have double T7 affixes, with reflected flat damage and Attunement being the top priorities. The shield also requires T7 flat damage, and it is recommended to add T7 Block Chance for better survivability. The core endgame damage item is "Jupiter's Sigil," though "Red Ring" can be used as an alternative, as long as it has one slot and T7 Attunement. This setup is sufficient to clear all game content and provide a fast mapping experience.

If you’re looking for a powerful build to enhance your gameplay or even offer Last Epoch Boosting services, this Reflective Righteous Fire Paladin is an excellent choice. Happy gaming and smooth farming!
