How To Reach Desolace: Alliance

WoTLK Gold: This is the closest Alliance city that is within Desolace and is a nice thing because it's not convenient to any other city. Get on a boat to Auberdine within Darkshore and then head south to the southwest part of Stonetalon. This will take you through Ashenvale and the Barrens as part of the natural level advancement anyway. People who go in this direction have the option of using the Deeptalon Path, a secret tunnel that takes them from Ashenvale all the way to Stonetalon Mountains, allowing the player to skip the Barrens completely.

Ironforge Then head east from Ironforge before heading north towards the Wetlands. Follow the road all the way to the western end of the Wetlands to reach Menethil Harbor. Take the northern of the two ships to Auberdine which is located within Darkshore. Players can also use The Deeprun Tram to Stormwind, and take a ship from there towards Theramore Isle, which takes them to Ratchet City, which is a neutral town located in Kalimdor with an Alliance flight path.

Stormwind: Higher-level players or those who are ready to run for long distances can take the ship on a trip to Theramore Isle from the Stormwind docks. To the other side, you can head to the district of the dwarfs. Use the Deeprun Tram to Ironforge and then follow similar directions from Ironforge until Menethil Harbor.

The Exodar. Following that the Draenei city was established during TBC, Darnassus lost the award for being the most isolated Alliance settlement. From there, take the flight path or boat to Teldrassil, the place where Darnassus is located. Then continue on to Teldrassil.

How To Get To Desolace: Horde

Orgrimmar. Take the road south, continue west until the Barrens. In the northwest you will find it is the Stonetalon Mountains await. Continue on the northwest road, which links to the southwest route that leads towards Charred Vale. There's a little roadway in the southeast corner of Charred Vale that leads south into Desolace.

Thunder Bluff. How do players get to Desolace by way of Mulgore? The flight path that runs from Thunder Bluff to Sun Rock Retreat and a walk to the south is one of the most convenient methods to reach Desolace.On foot, players have to travel east and north within the protected area of Mulgore before heading to the west.

Undercity. Instead of ships instead, the Horde units of the Eastern Kingdoms do their long-distance travel with goblin-operated Zepplin. Zeppelins are operated by goblins. Undercity Zeppelin will take players to Orgimmar and players can fly from there or travel west on foot. It's a long drive, but it's through low-level areas that are suitable for Horde.

Silvermoon City. The areas with the highest level in the city that Made Warcraft III famous lie between the home of the Blood Elves and the rest of Azeroth. Fortunately, a handy translocation Orb in the northwestern portion of Silvermoon will port a player directly to the ruins of Lordaeron only a few feet from to the Undercity Zepplin the tower.
